The Clinicians and Instructors at Center for Balance all have decades of experience in their respective fields. Our goal is to identify the health needs of every client and develop a unique evidence-based plan to help you realize those goals. Treatment modalities range from patient teaching and education to massage, acupuncture, herbal therapy, and mindfulness practice. All treatment plans, both Traditional and Modern, must meet a rigorous standard for efficacy and beneficence.
Center for Balance utilizes the practice of Yoga and Tai Chi as a form of primary medical therapy. These arts have proven health benefits that go well beyond that of simple exercise. Unifying body and mind together with the breath, Tai Chi and Yoga both encourage practitioners to remain present in the moment. This not only promotes mindfulness but has a powerful effect on your health. Anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, arthritis, respiratory difficulties such as asthma and COPD, and diabetes have all been shown to improve with regular practice.
